Before starting her coaching practice in 1996, Mariette Edwards was in senior Human Resource management for more than twenty years in New York and Atlanta. She served as executive advisor and principal talent relations strategist for financial, manufacturing and high tech companies that included SuCrest Corporation, Robinson-Humphrey, Wang Laboratories, Quadram Corporation and TechSOUTH, a BellSOUTH Enterprises company.
After leaving the corporate world, Mariette spent eight years working in small business. She served first as Business Manager and Coach to the CEO of an L.A. based entertainment marketing company. Later, as President of a small engineering design and manufacturing business, she took the company from bricks and mortar to a virtual operation while developing hands-on strategic and tactical skills in every aspect of small business management from raising venture capital to product build and ship.
